EASY STYLE CHICKEN BISCUITS

Even a homemaker who loves cooking and spending time in the kitchen values a clever shortcut. EASY STYLE CHICKEN BISCUITS goes by many names, such as chicken pot pie or skillet chicken biscuits. Baked family-style in a shallow casserole dish, this old-fashioned favorite hits all the right notes with a rich creamy chicken filling and a golden biscuit topping.
Ingredients are readily accessible in any kitchen:
1 can ( 10 1/2 oz.) condensed cream of broccoli soup
1 can ( 10 1/2 oz ) condensed cream of potato soup
2/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/8 tsp. black pepper
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables ( carrots, green beans, corn, and peas)
2 cups cubed cooked chicken ( substitute turkey or baked ham)
1 package (10 biscuits) refrigerated biscuit dough
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Stir the soups , milk, poultry seasoning, black pepper together very well. Add frozen vegetables, mix well. Add 2 cups cubed cooked meat to mixture, mix well. Pour into an 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes or until mixture is hot and bubbling; stir the mixture before topping with the biscuits. Bake for 15 more minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
